"I’m James, a design, user experience, and product leader with a reputation for delivering outstanding design and technical solutions for both digital agency and client-side product teams. For over a decade I’ve worked with some of the world’s most respected brands to design, develop, and lead projects for clients such as BBC Worldwide, Samsung, BMW, and Volkswagen.
I’m passionate and highly experienced at embedding service and user-centred design into FTSE companies, delivering experiences that delight customers and drive business KPI’s across retail, digital and CRM. An advocate for agile product development, I have a track record in successfully building product teams for rapid ‘test and learn’ initiatives, through to major digital transformation projects.
I hold the post of ‘Head of User Experience’ at Camelot, overseeing the design and user experience for the National Lottery’s digital products and services, with previous roles including ‘Head of Digital Design’ for Homebase, and ‘Head of Design’ for the FTSE250 property giant Countrywide plc.
I’m based in London, and occasionally speak at industry events and contribute to global publications such as Net Magazine and Creative Bloq."
